An Encouraging Word

Adversity is a bridge to a deeper relationship with God; it is one that I believe we should all consider, daily.
All of our experiences in life can be used as great lessons, if we truly allow them. If we believe in our hearts and minds that God is with us in all that we go through (good, bad or indifferent), then we'll be sure to set our heart to always seek Him, and in all things. God will use each of our problems to teach us a greater truth, if we simply believe.
As I was praying for some clarity this morning, this Scripture came to my mind in a most miraculous way: "Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly" (Mark 8:25).
My heart is for unity in this body of Christ; but, sadly, I do recognize that many offenses can often stand in the way. We must forgive one another, if we hope to move forward. We must admit there was an offense, confess it, and without any further delay.
There are spiritual obstructions that will prevent us from fulfilling our full potential for God, if we do not open our spiritual eyes to see this clearly.
My prayer this morning is that my eyes will always be open, and for all that He wants me to see.
My hope and prayer for you is that today you will join me, as our sight is being restored, and we continue our journey of faith and perseverance, love and unity.
